New Year, New Me? No, There's Nothing Wrong with Being the Same Person as in 2016

I've already seen so many posts with that well known motto: New year - new me! And it's definitely going to get even worse today and specially tomorrow because that's when everyone will wake up a different person...
ČEŠTINA NÍŽE...

I used to follow this motto as well. But I didn't do it last year and the year before and guess what? Nothing has changed! Believe me or not but you're going to be the same person tomorrow... And I don't see a reason why that should be wrong.

Living Abroad: Christmas Abroad

Many people spend Christmas at home, usually with their families. Honestly, I can't imagine going abroad, with or without my family, to celebrate Christmas. I need our big and cozy house to feel the festive spirit. But that might change one day... So I was interested how it feels to spend Christmas abroad and found girls who were willing to answer my questions...
ČEŠTINA NÍŽE...

I've already done two interviews with people who live abroad (Cristina travels the world with her husband and Katie - from the US to Europe). Now I wanted to talk to people who are going to spend Christmas abroad. I found 4 girls who wanted to participate in this interview and I want to thank them for that! I won't write more and will let them introduce themselves now...

I’ve been living and working in South Korea for 11 years, married for 8 and “mommy” for 4. When our son was really young we started traveling more so that we could visit our family members who are spread all over before we had to pay for more expensive flights for our son.

Beautiful Christmas Markets in Prague

I love Prague. I love night Prague. And there are no words for how much I love Christmas Prague!
Get comfortable because I'm here with (too) many pictures from beautiful Christmas Prague!
ČEŠTINA NÍŽE

I know that many people who came to visit Prague fell in love with it. Those who visited this city that looks like it was built for shooting a fairytale, during the Christmas loved this city immediately. And I can definitely see why. I go abroad, usually to Vienna (my post about Christmas in Vienna last year) or Dresden (my trip to Dresden and the beginning of Christmas season) for Christmas markets every year and I admit they are beautiful as well but trust me, Prague has my heart.

Instagram Tips: Hashtags (How to Find the Best Instagram Hashtags)

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who likes Instagram! I like to scroll through thousands of pictures and I also like to see that other people like my pictures!

First of all, I'd like to say that this article is for people who'd like to  increase their Instagram exposure and get more likes on their Instagram pictures. If you don't like Instagram or you don't use it to "collect" likes, that's completely fine. But please, don't judge us :)

I know that many of you have Instagram to share personal pictures from their daily life without expecting anything from this platform. And that's fine. Something tells me though that I'm not the only one who likes to see that their pictures are doing well. But unless you're a celebrity or well-known person you propably won't have that many followers and hearts on your pictures without "helping" your pictures to be seen... and that's why there are hashtags!
For years I used any hashtag I thought of when I was preparing the picture to be uploaded. I've always used relevant hashtags which means I used hashtags that are somehow connected with the picture or with my account/me. That's something I haven't changed. But I changed something else a couple of moths ago and I see the difference!

Amazing Places in Prague: One of the Best Views in Prague

I'm walking through a park looking around because it's the first time I'm here. It's cold but sunny autumn afternoon and I'm excited to find the spot that's famous for its beautiful view over Prague. I can hear some noise, maybe banging, and people laughing and shouting. What is that?

Oh, so there are skateboarders all over the hill. That's the noise. Well... I've always had a thing for boys riding some kind of a board. And I love the clothes these people wear. Plus there are grafitti all over the walls. And that huge metronome. It all fits together. I like the place already...
But I knew there should be more. And I was left speachless as I reached the walls and the end of the hill. I've seen Prague from so many famous spots but I've never been here. This view is new to me. And that's how I fell in love with Prague once again!

Photographer Beginner: DSLR Camera VS Compact Camera

It's almost Christmas time and I can imagine that many of you are still thinking what you'd like to get as a present or how you could treat yourself... I know that you can buy things you want anytime but I'm pretty sure there are more people like me out there - those who want to buy things that are more expensive when it's "the right time", for example Christmas, birthday, etc...
ČEŠTINA NÍŽE

I bought myself my first DSLR camera last year for Christmas. It was two weeks before I was leaving to spend half a year in Sweden. I thought that I couldn't have picked better time! Or maybe I could... If I wanted to take good pics in Sweden, I should have bought it months ago!

Am I kidding you? No! It takes a lot of time to understand DSLR cameras and to take good pictures with them. And now, almost a year after I started using it, I'm still far away from being a good photographer!

A year with DSLR camera
I remember how excited I was after a first walk with my new camera. You can even see all of those pics because I immediatelly uploaded a post full of them called Christmas Walks. These were the first pics I've ever taken with a DSLR camera (not talking about those pics I took right after I took it out of the bag for the first time trying it at home). I don't think they're bad. These are quite nice pics for those who just want to take pics to save them as memories. And that's what I was doing in Sweden as well... I was carrying my camera with me all the time, shooting thousands of pictures. But how? I only used automatic program. What a pity, right?

How I Used to Blog Only for Freebies

You read it right, I only used to blog for freebies. But let's make it clear...
ČEŠTINA NÍŽE...

I've been blogging since I was 11 and back then I definitely wasn't blogging for freebies. I had no idea blogs could be something else than diaries. But I might tell you about my complete blogging history some other day. Now I only want to tell you how I fell into that materialistic trap of blogging...
First of all, I have to tell you that none knows about this. I'm still ashamed of how materialistic, irresponsible and selfish I was. But I see more and more people coming into this world of blogging with the goal to get freebies or make money. There's nothing wrong with you wanting to make your blog your job. I'd love to reach that stage one day as well so I'm definitely not going to judge you for that. But I get judgy when I see people starting their blogs just to get freebies with little or zero work. Why? Because I did it myself...

Living Abroad: Cristina Travels the World with Her Husband

I'm here with another interview and I'm sure you're gonna like this one as much as you liked the previous one. This time Cristina is going to show you how to travel the world with your loved one, how to live life abroad!
ČEŠTINA NÍŽE...

Hi Cristina! I know you've spent quite some time living abroad. You come from Romania and the first place you moved to was France. I know that one of the reasons why you moved there was love. What were the other ones? Would you say that it helped you that you already knew someone who lived there?
I knew just my beloved future husband :-) and another reason was that I thought I would have a better future if studying abroad.

How did you feel before moving abroad for the first time? What was the hardest? Could you speak French?
I have dreamt for a longtime going abroad, especially that my country was during the communist era...until 1989. I was speaking French but not very well. The hardest thing was to understand the French education system and to adapt myself to it ;-). Also it was quite hard that nobody helped us...

OOTD with Sammy Dress: Autumn Walk

I go for a walk almost every day. And my favourite season for these walks is autumn. Why? Because nature is full of colours at that time! I love winter and its snow and I love spring and summer as well because it's usually sunny. But ... autumn always has so much more to offer when it comes to just looking around :)

I usually go for a walk with my dog but this time I went by myself because I wanted to take these outfit pics and I just know she hates when I'm slowly walking behind her. She always wants me to play with her or at least walk fast so she can run around... And I always return dirty from walking my dog cuz ... that animal might be a pig!
And I didn't want my clothes to get dirty this time! A few weeks ago I got an email from Sammy Dress e-shop whether I'd like to try some of their clothes. You know I'm not a fashion blogger so I wasn't expecting that and I wasn't even sure if this kind of article fits on my blog... but later I (obviously) said yes.

Beutiful Belgian Town That You Might Have Never Heard Of!

I've spent hours on Instagram and Pinterest scrolling through pics of Belgian cities before actually going there to visit my friends. I knew I'm going to love it and I was right! And I actually didn't even go to one of those well known cities...

I spent 4 days visiting my friends in beautiful city of Leuven, Belgium. This was my first time in Belgium so I was really excited to go there and see the beauties of its unique culture. And I wasn't disappointed...

You might now be asking how could I recommend you to go to Leuven if I haven't been to other Belgian cities? Well... When you ask someone (google) which cities you should visit in Belgium, you'll propably find these: Brussels, Ghent, Antwerpen, Bruges,... Leuven won't most likely be in TOP 5 or you won't find it at all.
